Jake Kapusta was born and raised nowhere in particular, and is happy to call California the place where he currently lives.

His work stems from a keen interest in play, discovery, and materiality, which has led him down a path of studying sculpture and rapid prototyping.

Jake has received scholarships to study at both Oxbow and Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts, as well as being a participant in grant-based opportunities with Site:Lab at the Grand Rapids Public Museum, Miami: Art Basel, and the Yuan Art Museum in Beijing, China.

He is probably playing with toys instead of working right now.
